My favourite guilty pleasure track is Prince's Little Red Corvette because it's a great one to holler in the car (not a Corvette), and I love the idea of Prince sitting beside me telling me to slow down, (as I'm in standstill traffic at the Basin Reserve).
Read MoreI knew that I'd never be a ballerina as I'd missed the boat, trying to start again midway through my twenties. However, a beginners ballet class for adults that starts with being told "You won't be a ballerina" isn't the class for me. That's LITERALLY the ONE reason I was there. To do ballet. To be a ballerina. For that small moment in my day to just feel something bigger or better than myself. To dream and imagine and spin and let go.✨
Read MoreWe are super proud to finally announce the launch of our very own Shut Up & Dance App and new website! Rewind to our very first pop-up course in Wellington at the start of 2016 and there's no way we would have thought we'd be releasing an app to revolutionise the way that people engage with fitness!
Read MoreThe world would be a better place with more loving, more patience and of course more DANCING in it. The routine I want to learn the most is Flashdance and if I could have a secret power it would be invisibility so that I could sneak into every SU&D class without looking like a stalker...
Read MoreOk, so you're the maid of honor and the bride says to your face "NO PENIS PARAPHERNALIA. It's going to be a classy bachelorette party." What's a best friend to do?!
Read MoreToday however, while we were spinning, there was a slight distraction. A lady paddle boarding, with her labrador, on the board. Please picture the cuteness of this moment. It made my heart so happy! An actual dog paddle boarding... It's too much for my heart to handle.
Read MoreBy night, however, it's pretty clear that she's one of those people you would rely on to deliver a seriously entertaining 21st speech. Our entire conversation is coloured by an impressive display of imitations and accents. The beer hardly makes it down my throat before she's cracking another joke that makes me nearly spit it out in laughter.

Read MoreI watch a video of Michael Jackson live at the Grammy's in 1988 and realise that I should never moonwalk again because my attempts are an insult to his talent. I pull myself back together and moonwalk to the kitchen where I make the fourth or ninth cup of tea for the day and tie up the loose ends for our upcoming events; Parks Week, Cancer Society Relay for Life and our Christchurch Pop-Up.
Read MoreI love the fact that each week, Abby, Lesa and I come together to do the class and then eat with a bevvy afterwards. Energy that's unspoken. People don't HAVE to be there, it's not work. You're just there cause everyone loves to dance and everyone loves to feel part of something. All I want is to be happy and to give happiness.
